Tulum Tales

Tulum has been on my travel wish list for quite some time now. When the opportunity arose to go, I was ready! Traveling right now can be taboo, so doing extensive research on hotels and airlines with best practices was a MUST. This trip was a much needed escape for me. The super bohemian beach town felt like nowhere I’ve ever traveled. The muted colors, dusty roads and flawless beaches provided a unique, off the grid and relaxing experience. Less than a 2 hour drive from Cancun's airport, Tulum is a small town with a strip of hotels & restaurants. I indulged in some delish cocktails at La Malinche, Taboo, Ziggy’s & Rosa Negra to name a few. There are so many cute and uniquely decorated restaurants and hotels to choose from along the dusty main road. I stayed at La Zebra Hotel and it did not disappoint. I will share a short list of things to do in Tulum, but relaxing should be #1 on the list!

The Mia Beach Restaurant, La Malinche, Raw Love, Ziggy Beach Club, IK Lab Art Gallery @ Azulik, Taboo, Rosa Negra, Matcha Mama, Cenote Dos Ojos, Gran Cenote, Cenotes Sac Actun, Coba Mayan Tradition & Tulum Ruins
