DIY Cape

When I found this cape while thrifting..it was in the form of a mumu. I loved the print so much I just had to get it. Often when I love a print...I just buy it and figure out it's purpose later. Turning a mumu into a cape is extremely simple. All you need is a pair of scissors, hem tape and an iron. First thing you need to do is find the front, center of the garment...then cut straight down. Next, use the hem tape and iron to seal the raw edge...boom..your finish!
